COVERGIRL Total Tease Mascara or Carnivorous Subtropical Plant? - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Girl, take you seen this mascara brush?? It is BANANAS.
Bananas. ?
It's attached to COVERGIRL Total Tease Mascara and, every bit you can see, at that place's a Venus flytrap-looking thing happening on 1 side of the brush…just the other side looks more traditional.
The reason for the Venus flytrap contraption stems (Get it? Plant stem?? Sorry…) from the idea of backcombing, which is when you use a teasing comb to add book. So, you use the traditional side of the brush to dissever and lengthen your lashes from root to tip, then utilize the little teasing comb in those hard-to-achieve areas, like the inner and outer corners (or, in my instance, that missing patch of lashes on my correct middle), to "tease" those lashes out and make them look longer and separated.
I've been all near this mascara lately. That slightly threatening-looking rummage (it'south scary, right?) thoroughly combs through each and every lash to completely embrace them in mascara. Fifty-fifty the littlest, stubbiest lashes!
Total Tease layers well too (even with other mascaras, if you're into making your ain mascara cocktails), so I tin go Tammy Faye-style without any clumping, flaking or smudging. I like to layer it with Chanel le Volume or the new squeezable Dior mascara because it isn't the best for the volume all by itself. So I'll do a niggling Chanel or Dior at the base of operations, and so run a couple coats of Total Tease through my lashes for separation and length.
I think it's a good deal for $8.99, but it's also on BOGO correct now at Ulta. In add-on to the Very Blackness shade, which is the one I wear, information technology also comes in Black, Black Dark-brown and a waterproof version.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty aficionado,
Karen
